The Center for Healing and Wholeness’ (the Center’s) approach to serving seniors and caregivers is to be:
Relationship-based — that is, to build on the capacity and strengths of the senior and family, and make use of volunteer and paid staff to maximize positive impact while minimizing costs.
Many people come to the Center for one need, but end up coming back for other programs and services—ultimately working with a variety of staff and accessing the broad spectrum of services the Center has to offer.
We encourage people to come back and experience the programs and education that the Center has to offer as a means to maintain good health practices through participating in our continuum of wellness offerings.
We view this as a positive affirmation of the quality of the connections developed with individuals and their families. This relationship helps the staff at the Center to effectively support individuals and to reduce stress and increase confidence.
