Spirituality & Caregiving Workshop
Monday, September 28
1:00-2:30 pm | Virtual
Family caregiving is not only a practical and emotional undertaking, it is often a deeply spiritual experience. This workshop explores how spirituality—broadly defined to include faith traditions, personal belief systems, values, and sources of meaning—can serve as a resource for resilience, healing, and connection in the caregiving journey. The workshop honors diverse spiritual perspectives and welcomes both religious and non-religious participants.
Presented by Rebecca Kamil, a board-certified chaplain and rabbi who has worked in healthcare for over 10 years and has experience in hospice, hospitals, and long term care settings, as well as in tele-health providing 1:1 coaching for family caregivers. Navigating caregivers through all stages of the journey, Rebecca provides individualized, compassionate and whole person care, ensuring that people feel heard and supported as they manage caregiving responsibilities.
