Visiting Volunteer
& Respite Services
Memory Companions
Memory Companions are designed to provide safe and nurturing support for people with memory loss while their caregivers take a break. Our memory companions are trained to work with people with memory loss, visit with the care receiver, and provide meaningful activities that are appropriate to each individual’s stage of memory loss.
Group Respite Activities
We offer group respite activities for our in-person Saturday Caregiver Education Series and Saturday Support Group.
Friendly Visitors
Friendly Visitor volunteers provide friendship to seniors and provide respite to caregivers. Visits occur once a week or every other week for 1-3 hours. Activities are determined by mutual interest and can include scrapbooking, reading, games, conversations, crafts, and more.
