Memory Companions — Are designed to provide safe and nurturing support for people with memory loss while their caregivers take a break. Our memory companions are specifically trained to work with people with memory loss, visit with the care receiver, and provide activities that are meaningful and appropriate to teach individual’s stage of memory loss. Group respite activities are also available for our Saturday Support Group and Education Series and other select activities.
Friendly Visitors — Friendly Visitor volunteers provide friendship to seniors and provide respite to caregivers. Visits occur once a week or every other week for 1-3 hours. Activities are determined by mutual interest and can include scrapbooking,
reading, games, conversations, crafts, and more.
